Now as the epic decision is out , the debate is heated upon the issue of Moarality, Religion & Society Culture. Gayism or Homosexuality is till date a huss huss affair for the LGBT( lesbians, gay, bisexuals & transsexuals) group. but Now they can move freely, unmasked, without the feel of guilt. This may be a hard pill to swallow for many, including the Vultures of cultures. Now some are saying that it is irreligious ,but not a crime, just because they cannot dare to deny the court's verdict. Is 'nt this a funny statement???
What the religion has to do with the personal life of a human being, i.e. sexual behaviour, unless, until it is harming anybody.
Maulana Abu Zafar Hassan Naqvi, a Muslim cleric, too accepts that since the Quran is silent on the punishment for homosexuality,it should be treated as an irreligious, immoral act.‘‘Every non-religious act is notliable to be punished. Just as we don’t pronounce death for atheists,
homosexuals should be left alone until they get reformed,”said Maulana Naqvi. ‘‘The Quran condemns homosexuality, but doesn’t prescribe any punishment for it. It’s a sin, not a crime. Sin is between "Allah" and the sinner, but crime concerns the entire society. So, sexual minoritiesshould be left to their conscience. They are answerable to "Allah" for their act and should not be treated as criminals,’’said Islamic scholar Asghar Ali Engineer.
Most countries where the Christian population is dominant has legalised marriage in same sex.
please put your comments on this topic, whether homosexuality is irreligious??

"Gayism",Not crime anymore,Have a legal "SEX"
LGBT (The Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual,Trans & Intersexual Association). now legal
Now, as the historic decision came through the Delhi Highcourt, the battle has been won that started, long back in 2001.It's really a long fought "victory" to the battle. Many are calling it India’s Stonewall moment. For Anjali Gopalan, Executive Director of the Naz Foundation(India) Trust which started the legal battle in the Delhi HC in2001, wordings “we’ve finally entered the 21st century”.The journey to this momentous point started eightyears ago when Naz, a non-profitgroup, filed the petition to read down Section 377. In 2004, the court dismissed the plea. But the fight to decriminalise Section 377 was not so easily dismissed. ‘‘That was probably the lowest point of our struggle,’’ said ArvindNarrain, a lawyer. But the movement only became stronger as a group of 13NGOs, including women and child rights groups, called Voices Against 377 became a respondent in court. But even at the news conference held to celebrate the verdict came voicesof opposition. ‘‘It’s these notionsthat we have to educatepeople about,’’ said Gopalan.

Homosexuality is considered a crime & Taboo in the Indian Society & the social stigma associated with Homosexuality is till date, the most embarassing thing to the LGBT(Lesbian,Gay,Bisexual, Tans Intersexuals). Still in some of the country it is a crime worth "Death Penalty". Now India has broken the shackles & allowed the "Real Freedom " to it's meaning.
History of Homosexuality is very old & even dates back to the "Ramayan & Mahabharata".
In the Valmiki's "Ramayana", there are descriptions of "Rakshasa" (devil) women who kiss women on Ravana’s bed...Krittivasa Ramayana is the story of two widows who drink a magic potion and, in the absence of their husband, make love to each other.
First recorded gay kiss"The 4,000-year-old joint tomb of ancient Egyptian royal servants Khnumhotep and Niankhkhnum" has a wall painting which is alleged to depict first same-sex kiss. Although the hieroglyphs say nothing about their relationship, but two of the paintings show them with their noses touching, which was the most intimate embrace permitted in Egyptian art of the time, used to depict kissing.
Homosexuality was first mentioned in "Fleta", a treatise on the common law of England, written in 1290. The first law penalizing sodomy was the Buggery Act of 1533, re enacted in 1563 by Queen Elizabeth-I. It made sodomy illegal in Britain and its colonies. IPC, drafted by LordMacaulay, and enacted in 1861, mentions sodomy in the chapter of offences affecting the human body.
